We can accept tax-free donations in several ways.
We are seeking gently used brass, woodwind and stringed musical instruments and accessories such as music stands, metronomes and chromatic tuners. All instruments must be in working order.
We are also seeking all types of sheet music and textbooks dealing with musical theory, history and ethnomusicology (world music). Sound equipment is also gratefully accepted.
We are always in need of monetary donations. Shipping these items to Africa can be $1000 per shipment and although Music For East Africa (formerly Music for Tanzania) is run completely by volunteers, we have found not everything is free.
